Staff suggested the Murphy Chop House as a nice place to eat... nice turned out to be a significant understatement - prime rib was superb, she-crab chowder was superb, chocolate cake was decadent. We're willing to drive all day from Tampa for a great meal here.
Our room was exceptionally clean, spotless!! The staff was very friendly and kind to us. They made sure we had everything that we may need. We stayed 5 nights and have nothing what so ever to complain about. Great price and we will definitely stay there again when we are back in the area! We also took our weimeraner puppy with us, they have a great pet area!! As Well As they had a water bowl in the room for the puppy. Very pet friendly!
We enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless and comfortable. The lady at the desk in the afternoon when we arrived was very sweet and helpful.
Room was clean, neat, and tidy with good TV and wifi. Our pet friendly room came with dog dish and suggestion.
The hotel was neat, clean and coveniently located near many pharmacies and eateries. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast covered all basis. My family and I would definitely stay there again.
This inn appeared to be relatively new or else recently remodeled, but I was told it was built in 1988. It's very clean, no room smells, bathroom was clean and spotless. Very convenient location North of the Murphy business district, close to US 74. Nice pool, small of course, but CLEAN. Price is higher than one would expect for an out of the way BW, but then WE definitely got what we paid for. Managed by owner, on site, who said all her cleaning and maintenance staff were long term employees, which is why it's so clean and well maintained. Did not try the free breakfast, sadly (very quiet, slept late).
This property is exceptionally pet friendly. We think the biggest plus is the very large grassy area between the property and the highway... our 10 month old Black Lab thought running off leash under voice command was just fine, thank you very much. This is the first property to ask for detailed facts about Sugar, our Lab, and ask for our acknowledgment of the rules and limits of hotel patience and tolerance.
